- Help!

- Does anyone know of a reliable 28.8 voice/fax/data modem for the Mac?
- I've already tried BestData without much success (a power cord that won't
- stay in place, inaccessible tech support, displaced speaker port,
- software that falls apart when another app is running on a Mac),
- and I'm now struggling with problems using the Prometheus CyberPhone
- (temperamental software -- it may be a 2nd gen. PowerMac thing).
-
- I hear that the GeoPort Telecom Adapter with Pleiades' Home Office software
- is reliable, but then you're locked in at 14.4 with no compression.
-
- I do freelance and consulting work, so I really need features like fax
- forwarding, paging, and fax on demand to work reliably and consistently.
-
- Please e-mail me directly if know of a solution. I might be our shopping
- for wigs to conceal the fact that I've pulled out all my hair over this.
- Thanks.
